In May 2022, MINERVA had the pleasure to be part of the KA1 training course called “Rights Are 4 All” run in Spain, to which participated 4 youth workers from MINERVA. The project gathered together participants coming from 7 different countries, namely, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria and Spain.
The main aim of the training was to develop youth workers’ knowledge and skills in key concepts of human rights education with minority young people. Thanks to the different non-formal activities, they had the chance to deepen their understanding of concepts of human rights and to learn what must be done to achieve equality and to create more tolerant societies for youth minorities.
During the training week, participants had a chance to work in different international teams and share with each other more about the human rights issues in their country and communities. Together they developed several advocacy campaigns for rising awareness about the discrimination which youth minorities face as well as discussed, their own role in the prevention of minorities human rights abuse and discrimination. In addition, the good weather let us enjoy a nice beach session full of teambuilding games and a lot of fun!
This training course was organized by our Spanish partner PROJUVEN.
