🌍 Event Overview: Associazione MINERVA’s dedicated youth workers have recently participated in a transformative training course named “Climate & Displacement Building Euro-Arab Bridges”.
📍 Location & Date: The insightful training took place in the scenic locale of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from the 19th to the 28th of October.
🌟 International Collaboration: The project brought together 35 youth workers, aged over 20, from six different countries: Germany, Italy, Spain, Georgia, Armenia, and Egypt. This melting pot of cultures and experiences fostered an environment rich in learning and exchange.
🔍 Focus: The project aimed to delve deep into the intricate link between climate change and population displacement. Through a blend of storytelling, policy analysis, and proactive workshops, the participants examined the root causes of climate-induced migration such as sea-level rise, extreme weather events, and desertification.
🌐 Objectives: This initiative was not just about learning but also about action. It aimed to:
